Join us on for our 2nd Annual running of the SCC XC race!

REGISTRATION OPEN NOW ON ZONE4!

This is a low key and fun race but will test your fitness and riding! The course will take you up the new Ida View Trail, down Rubberhead, back up and through the lush Larch Hills, and down the fast and flowy South Canoe system.

Open to racers 16 and older. This will be a self-supported race, with limited course marking. There will be a small aid station at the bottom of Rubberhead, and a big pot of chilli at the finish line!

Tentative Schedule:

• 7:45 – 8:30am Register, Collect Race Plate
• 8:45am Race Meeting
• 9:00am Race Start
• 12pm, top of Ida View time cut off
• 3pm Course Close
• 3:30pm Awards

Cost: $20 – Includes. a post race home-cooked meal and refreshments.

Membership: To participate, you must be a member of the Shuswap Cycling Club.

It has been a few years the but the kids are still fast! The Skookum Tuesday Youth Ride has been happening this year for the first time since Covid and we’re happy to help. Kids have been riding Tuesdays at South Canoe since April and the turnout has been amazing, upwards of 50 kids some weeks.

Now it’s time to put their skills to the test in the Race Series. 4 races over 4 weeks, points for each race, and winner takes all! Actually there will be a lot of winners, the final night is going to include a BBQ and some excellent draw prizes. See below for updated results!

Here are the final results for the 2022 Skookum Youth Race Series. We had a total of 43 kids take part in at least 1 race. Amazing turnout! Thanks to all the coaches for helping with the races and making it such a fun experience for all the kids!
