South Canoe Trails 10th Ave SE and 70th St SE, Salmon Arm, British Columbia, CanadaShuswap Cycling is excited to be hosting this inaugural at the South Canoe Trails on Saturday, September 23. A first annual! Or maybe bi-annual, we aren't even sure yet. But we do know it is going to be a barrel of good times! This event will be open to all rippers ages 5-17. We will be having at least 2 short races, with mid-event snacks, and a BBQ to close things down. REGISTRATION OPEN NOW ON ZONE4!! Rough schedule of events is as follows: 9:00 - Check-in, bike-check and warm up 10:00 - XC Race (course based on category) 11:30 - Mid-race refuel 12:30 - DH Race (course based on category) 2:00 - BBQ This event will be completely free! South Canoe Trails 10th Ave SE and 70th St SE, Salmon Arm, British Columbia, CanadaFirst Annual Shuswap Cycling Club Cross Country Race The Shuswap Cycling Club would like to thank all the racers, volunteer and sponsors who made the first annual SCC XC Race happen. 18 racers took on a the 40km long course and the 25km short course, riding from South Canoe to Rubberhead and back to South Canoe through Larch Hills. These events do not happen with out Volunteers, The Shuswap Cycling Clubs would like to thank everyone who helped make this event possible. Race solo or as a team to see how many 10k laps you can do. Sign up the kids for the 3hr U15 team event on a shorter course, or the littlest ones for the 1k Salty Pup. Rubberhead Enduro 2024
Rubberhead Parking LotJoin us for the 2024 version of the Rubberhead Enduro on June 8th. ZONE 4 Event Page - RESULTS Final race and course details will be emailed out early in the week of the race. Arrival and Check In - 7:30 - 8:30am Parking may be tight, overflow parking past the main parking lot, not before it. Go to registration to collect your race plate (you can keep) and timing chip (return after race!!) Mandatory Racer Meeting - 8:50am Race Start All racers start at 9am. Race Course The race course will be announced Friday before the race in a final racer email. We want to keep it tight to protect the trails and avoid too many shuttle laps. First Aid and Emergencies Athletes are expected to ride within their abilities. Shuswap Search and Rescue will be on site providing First Aid. TransRockies Singletrack 6 is a 6 day mountain bike adventure showcasing the best riding in a variety of authentic mountain bike communities in Western Canada. Rockies 24
The Rockies 24 is located in Canmore Alberta at the world famous Nordic Centre in Kananaskis Country (K-Country) Park. This provincial park is situated at the foot of Mount Rundle within the Canadian Rocky Mountains along Bow Valley and the Trans-Canada Highway, at an elevation of 1,400 m (4,600 ft) and has a surface of 4.5 km2 (1.7 sq mi). It is part of Kananaskis Country’s park system. The Canmore Nordic Centre is a 5 minute drive or short pedal from town center. The Rockies 24 is a 24 hour team or solo mountain bike event with a looped course approximately 15.7km in distance, containing many classic trails that will satisfy all levels of riders. The Rockies 24 will take place on July 27-28, 2024. This is the perfect opportunity to take the family for a mountain getaway. A wide range of accommodation are available including hotels, AirBnB’s and camping. Camping on site for all solo racers and teams is included. Salmon Arm is hosting the 2024 55+ Games. There will be road, mountain bike, and triathlon events.
