The SCC provides a variety of social rides for everyone! All participants must be current members of the SCC. See below for the rides that are happening this year. Check back each week for updates on ride location or last minute changes due to weather etc. Big thanks to all of our ride leaders!
Ladies Social Rides
Monday evenings early spring to fall. Rides vary in location and often include some sort of social gathering afterwards. The group may separate into smaller groups depending on group dynamics. Open to SCC members.
Monday June 22nd – South Canoe @ 6pm
The Ladies ride is currently looking for additional ride leaders. Reach out to us if you’d like to help support the Ladies Ride!
Tuesday Youth Rides
The Spring Youth Ride program is finished for the year. Huge thanks to the volunteer coaches, we couldn’t do it without you!
Throughout the summer there will be casual Tuesday evening rides at 5:30pm. There won’t be any supervision available for kids so please expect to ride with your kids or check in with a coach before heading out.
Wednesday Group Rides
Open group rides for SCC members. Please make sure your SCC membership is current, as this allows us to offer these group rides at no charge! The group may separate into smaller groups depending on what people want to ride! Check back here weekly for updates on location.
Wednesday June 24th – Summer Solstice Ride! – Ida view to Larch Hills and back to South Canoe. Two start times, 5:30 departure lead by Eugene and 6pm departure lead by Steve. Everyone is welcome; ladies, come on out and crush the guys. E-Bikers, switch it to eco and see if you can keep up
Bring a jacket and stay for the After Party sponsored by Skookum. They’ll be supplying beverages and cooking up burgers. If you want something special, feel free to bring it along and we’ll make room on the BBQ for it.
Here’s the planned route, except we will be riding Salmon Arm’s newest jump line Corbs instead of Lumpy. It can get a bit confusing through Larch Hills so saving this route is recommended.
E-Bike Social Rides
E-Bike Social rides will be indefinitely postponed until more interest develops. Thanks to everyone who came out over the last couple of years.
