We hope you will once again ride and raise funds for mental health in the Shuswap! This year in cities across Canada we will have over 30 rides taking place on June 26th 2016. Our national goal is to raise over 1.5 million for mental health. As you know, it is a fun and feel good day and your continued support is key to raising awareness and reducing stigma at a local and national level. Ride Don't Hide 2017 Ride Don’t Hide is a community bike ride that is happening on June 25th 2017 in 35 city across Canada from BC to Newfoundland to raise awareness and funds for mental health. All funds raised goes back into local programs and initiatives. CMHA is a charity organization and it is their 5th year doing Ride Don’t Hide in Salmon Arm. Each year we grow a little and we are continue to reach out to community organizations to join our movement to: raise awareness and funds for mental health. I have attached a few posters and our Facebook page. In our effort to make the day a success we would really appreciate if you can send this event out to all your Larch Hills folks. It would be fabulous if Larch Hills were interested in putting a team together; we have a 10, 32 or 54km route to choose from. Ride Don’t Hide 2018

It’s not just another year for ride don't hide; 2018 is CMHA’s 100 anniversary as a national charity across Canada! A big one for us and we are hoping to continue to build community awareness around mental health. In order to do this we need to keep growing the ride and fundraising as all the money we raise stays local. Funds raised from the 2018 ride will continue to promote the mental health of everyone in our community. This means funding programs like Living Life to the Full and our new Wellness Centre for youth based out of Salmon Arm Secondary School. We want our youth to have access to health services including mental health so this generation of young people and generations to come can thrive in our community.
