Trailheads Group Road Ride
Askews Uptown 2701 11th Ave NE, Salmon Arm, BC, CanadaJim will not be there to lead the ride this week. Join Jim Maybee of Trailheads Cycle & Ski for a Sunday Group Road ride. Meet Sunday morning at 9:00am at the top of the hill at Askews Uptown. Ride will be 1.5 to 3 hours in length and average 20-25km/hr. Everyone is welcome, and road bikes are preferred. Please bring a spare tube, plenty of water, energy bars, and clothing for variable weather. Free event

Twilight Family Ride – Downtown Salmon Arm
Downtown Salmon Arm Salmon ArmThe 3rd Annual Twilight Family Fun Ride will be happening on Friday May 23rd from 6:30 to 7:30pm and features a leisurely ride through the downtown core for families (and all community members); complete with entertainment, refreshments and good times. There will even be some amusing tasks on the way.

Shuswap Trail Training Workshop
Shuswap Trail Design/Build/Maintain Training Workshop is scheduled for May 23 & 24 (Fri eve/all day Saturday). It’s a great way to discover the fun and finesse that goes into designing a trail, understanding how to manage water, sustainable construction techniques, and how to maintain a trail to last. Cost: $35, includes lunch (cost is waived for anyone who signs on for three or more trail stewardship days.) Watch for more details

Goal is to finish P2, Bear Den & Triangle Trails. Sign-in at 8:45 am at the South Canoe Trailhead (10th Ave SE & 70th St. SE). Bring water, work gloves, safety glasses, and a big smile! All ages and talents welcome!

Skookum Kids MTB Ride
Kids Mountain Bike Ride! Drop your kids off, or join in the ride. Kids will be split into groups based on ability and will receive guidance & encouragement from adult group leaders. Suitable for kids ages 7 and up. Must have a bike with gears and hand brakes and a helmet. Please send kids with a water bottle, jacket and weather-appropriate clothing.
