Salmon Arm Flow Session
FeaturedRubberhead Parking LotThe Shuswap Cycling Club is hosting Sweet Skills this July for a ladies skills camp at Rubberhead. Register soon as it will fill up quickly! See below for the details from Sweet Skills. Cornering, drops and flow - get it all in the Salmon Arm 1 day clinic July 2020! The Rubberhead trails offer tons of fun corners, lots of opportunity for speed and flow, and some great drops to learn and progress on. To start the day we’ll talk about bike set up then tune in our body position to be able to ‘attack’ the trail, and practicing some key drills before heading up the hill. We’ll shuttle our way up so we can save on all that climbing and focus on our DH skills! Pump, carve and drop – you’ll be dialed with those skills by the end of the day and stoked with your riding! FRI July 17 10am-3pm $150 + gst BOOK NOW * All participants must be members of the Shuswap Cycling Club *volunteer shuttlers needed!

Skookum Youth Ride
FeaturedSouth Canoe Trails 10th Ave SE and 70th St SE, Salmon Arm, British Columbia, CanadaRides will run from 5:30pm to 7:00pm Tuesdays at South Canoe starting April 18th. Rides are every Tuesday from 5:30-7:00pm (approximately, sometimes there can be delays due to mechanical issues etc). The season will be April 18-June 27th. We may have a few rides in the summer but will resume again Sept 12-Oct 3 with our popular Youth Race Series. Register at Zone4. The registration is capped at 60 riders. If registration is full and you are interested in joining a wait-list, email shuswapbike@gmail.com For the first night we will start by checking in riders and helping them connect with their groups. Then we will go over some important safety info. We will also have a bike check station and spend the rest of the time doing some fun activities and a short ride! Aside from the first night, we will always start by meeting by the gazebo in our groups at 5:30. Please make sure your rider is ready to go each week with the following: Bike in good working order! mountain bike that is the appropriate size and suitable for ups and downs [...]
