Annual General Meeting
Songsparrow Hall 180 Lakeshore Dr NW, Salmon Arm, BC, CanadaJanuary 22, 2026, 7pm Song Sparrow Hall Join us for the Shuswap Cycling Society's Annual General Meeting at the Song Sparrow Hall! This is open to all members current with their 2025 Memberships. Not sure if you are up to date? Have a look at the 2025 Confirmation List. Movie Night with the SCC Once again this year we will be hosting a movie night for the AGM. Entry is free for members, beverages will be available for sale. Agenda: 1. Approve agenda 2. Approve minutes from 2024 AGM 3. Approve Financial Report 4. President's report 5. Elections There are 6 Director positions up for re-election this year, and we anticipate 2 of the incumbents will not be seeking re-elections. Board members are elected as Directors at Large to the Board. At the subsequent Board Meeting, the Executive positions are filled/confirmed. We are looking for anyone that has a passion for cycling and directors are welcome to explore areas that most interest them. Shuswap Summer Gear Swap
The Gathering Place 350 30th Street NE, Salmon Arm, British Columbia, CanadaIf you’re interested in buying and selling gently used outdoor summer recreation gear (think tents, bikes, paddles, hiking packs, etc.), be sure to check out the Shuswap Summer Gear Swap on April 11th at the Gathering Place in Salmon Arm! The swap is a fundraiser for the Mark Corbett Memorial Trail at South Canoe. For more information visit shuswapgearswap.ca. DETAILS Event Date: April 11, 2026 Event Times: 8:00am to 10:30am - Drop off items to sell 11:00am to 2:00pm - Come and shop! 2:30pm to 4:00pm - Pick up earnings and unsold items Event Location: The Gathering Place, 350 30 th Street NE, Salmon Arm Sale Details: There is no fee to attend the event and shop around. Sellers pay $2 per item to sell at the event. Tell us how much you want to sell the item for. Take home 80% of the sale price for sold items, and the remaining 20% goes towards our fundraiser.
