Annual General Meeting
SASCU Rec Centre - Room #1 2550 10th Ave NE, Salmon Arm, BC, CanadaAGM 2015 The SCS Annual General meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 7pm until 9pm at the Community Center. Have you ever consider about getting more involved and joining the SCS board? This year we have several board positions whose terms have come to an end and will have to be voted upon. The positions are as follows: President Treasurer Secretary Membership Director Communication/Urban Trails Director All members are welcome to attend the meeting and vote on who your directors will be for the 2016 season. Non-members can observe the meeting but cannot vote.

Annual General Meeting

Like other Societies we are required to update our bylaws to bring them in line with the new Societies Act. We will be voting on these bylaws at the upcoming AGM. This requires us to pass the following resolution as special resolution requiring the approval of a majority of not less than two thirds of the votes in person, of members of the Society, to alter the bylaws of the Society: BE IT RESOLVED, AS A SPECIAL RESOLUTION of the Society pursuant to Division 4, Sections 15 and 17 of the Act (British Columbia), that the CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS OF THE SOCIETY be repealed and replaced with the constitution and bylaws as attached DATED July 6, 2018. Special Club Meeting
Shuswap Trail Alliance 358 Alexander St, Salmon Arm, BC, CanadaThe Shuswap Cycling Society is having a special meeting of members to vote on two special resolutions regarding the Salty Dog. 7:00pm, Thursday December 12, 2019 Shuswap Trail Alliance Boardroom 358 Alexander St NE, Salmon Arm The Club will be voting on two resolutions: 1. “That the Shuswap Cycling Society endorse a Letter of Intent to enter into a 3 year partnership with Skookum Cycle & Ski Ltd. to acquire and operate the Salty Dog Enduro mountain bike race on an ongoing basis.” View Letter of Intent 2. “That the Shuswap Cycling Society approve expenditure of funds of $6,000 per year for 3 years to hire a Race Director to operate the Salty Dog Enduro on a 3-year contract.”

2020 Annual General Meeting
FeaturedThe SCC is having its 2020 Annual General Meeting on Thursday, November 19th, 7pm. The meeting will be held virtually, a meeting link will be posted closer to the date. The agenda will also include a review of the 2019 financials and reports from the directors on mountain biking, road cycling, cyclocross, memberships and more.
