Salty Street Fest May 9th 2015, downtown Salmon Arm! This year the Salty Street Fest will be more fun than ever! This event will take place on Saturday May 9th, in Downtown Salmon Arm, and will include a free outdoor concert by Cod Gone Wild. Shuswap Cycling Club presents the Largest Bike Swap in the Okanagan. Look for it on Hudson during the Salty Day’s Street Festival on Saturday May 9th If you want to sell a bike, drop off is 9:00 - 10:30 Sale starts at 11:00 3:00 20% of sale proceeds go to the Shuswap Cycling Club For high schools we present the biggest high school scavenger hunt in BC, thousands of scholarships to be won! Hey, kids! A lot of you already walk or bike to school. Why not win some stuff?  Everyday you bike or walk to school you get an entry form for a chance to win Gift Certificate valued at $150.00 Draw is Friday May 29th at 4:00 pm If you don't walk or bike, why not give it a try with a friend on your street? Or walk or bike with your Mom or Dad? Aside from the great exercise for kids and parents alike, you get to cruise the neighbourhood, talk about what's happening, goof around a bit before hitting the books. Or unwind after a tough day of algebra or speling practice.

Join us in Downtown Salmon Arm for the Family Ride. Family's and kids of all ages are welcome! We will close the streets of Downtown Salmon Arm to vehicle traffic and kids can ride the streets safely.  There will be prizes and a BBQ put on by the Shuswap Bike Club.  This is always a fun evening, and the kids love riding on the streets!
