Return To Earth – Movie Night with the SCC

This year we are proud to present the latest from Anthill Films, Return To Earth. Tickets are $15, available at the door, or available in advance at Skookum Cycles. Or email us and we can get some to you. Doors open at 6:00 PM, Showtime at 6:30 PM. We will have a short film to get us fired up before the main event, there will be beers/wine for sale, and great draw prizes at the intermission. Thanks to Shuswap Tourism for helping put this on!

Silver Star 23 Shortt St, Silver Star Mountain, BC, CanadaThe race is located at Silver Star mountain at an elevation of 1,609 m (5,280 ft) that makes it Canada’s highest 24 hour mountain bike race. 24 hour and 4 hour mountain bike races which are for all levels of riding ability. The 24 hour race categories are competitive teams of 5, solo racers and corporate teams of up to 10. The 4 hour race will allow for solo racers only to compete. Skookum Youth Ride – Park Hill Tonight!

DETAILS The Skookum Junior Group Rides are for young riders (around 6 - 14 years old) of all experience levels. Helmets are mandatory. Due to the hilly geography of Salmon Arm, riders are recommended to have bikes in good working order with gears, front suspension, and good brakes (disc brakes are ideal). Please make sure all riders dress for the conditions (comfortable shorts and jersey, bug spray, rain jacket if it's rainy, etc.) Each week, we will practice bike skills, learn and play games, and ride fun trails together.
