BTWW – Mayor’s Ride
Askews Uptown 2701 11th Ave NE, Salmon Arm, BC, CanadaA leisurely ride to kick off the week. Beginning at Askew’s Uptown Celebration Station with stops at the Interior Health Pancake Breakfast and Skookum Cycle/Askew’s Downtown Celebration Station. The ride will follow the new pop-up bike lane along 11th St. and 16th Ave to the Shuswap Lake Hospital for the Interior Health Pancake Breakfast (free). Following pancakes, the Mayor, Councillors and friends will ride through the downtown with a brief stop at Shuswap Park Mall and the Skookum Cycles/Askew’s Downtown Celebration Station

Ride Don’t Hide 2017
Field of Dreams - Little Mountain Sports Complex 250 30th St SE, Salmon Arm, BC, CanadaRide Don't Hide 2017 Ride Don’t Hide is a community bike ride that is happening on June 25th 2017 in 35 city across Canada from BC to Newfoundland to raise awareness and funds for mental health. All funds raised goes back into local programs and initiatives. CMHA is a charity organization and it is their 5th year doing Ride Don’t Hide in Salmon Arm. Each year we grow a little and we are continue to reach out to community organizations to join our movement to: raise awareness and funds for mental health. I have attached a few posters and our Facebook page. In our effort to make the day a success we would really appreciate if you can send this event out to all your Larch Hills folks. It would be fabulous if Larch Hills were interested in putting a team together; we have a 10, 32 or 54km route to choose from. Salmon Arm Bike for Your Life Century
An Invitation to Shuswap Cycling Club members: We all love cycling in the Shuswap! You are invited to join in the fun of the Saturday, Sept. 16 Salmon Arm Bike for Your Life Century Ride – Salmon Arm’s Community Bike Ride since 1998. Choose one of four local scenic routes: 10K, 35K, 75K or 100K. Each route will be well marked with Aid Stations, Mobile First Aid, friendly Volunteers, a Shuswap Lady Striders hosted BBQ Lunch at Blackburn Park, local Musicians and draw prizes. Registration is quick and easy here. $30/Adult, $50/Family, Children under 18 years: $5. Profits from this “all volunteers” fun and affordable event support the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Shuswap Trail Alliance: $24,000 since 2012. Wild Wonders Bike Camp
August 10 - 12, 2017 Grade 4/5 (having just completed this grade)3-day BIKE day camp Maximum participants: 16Cost: $195 Wilderness exploration and mountain biking come together for Shuswap Wild Wonders' first bike camp. It offers participants a chance to experience three beautiful locations while riding their bike! Eagle River Nature Trails, Larch Hills Ski Area and the trail from Balmoral to White Lake will be the backdrop to team-building activities, sensory awareness practice and developing a deep connection with nature. Skookum Race Series
Over the next four weeks Skookum will be hosting the Youth Race Series to put all those great skill learned over the summer to the test against your buds. Each Tuesday in September there is a different race; Cross Country, Orienteering, Team Enduro and Downhill. Stayed tuned for the location of the race each week. Groups are based on riding ability and each week racers ‘earn points. After the last race there will be a BBQ and door prizes.
