Thursday Road Ride
Field of Dreams - Little Mountain Sports Complex 250 30th St SE, Salmon Arm, BC, Canada6:00 pm from Field of Dreams. Paul Skinner will be leading these rides. They will vary in length and route, depending on group input, weather and other to be discussed factors. All riders young, old, new or experienced are welcome to participate. You will need to be a member of the Shuswap Cycling Club to join the rides. yearly membership is $20 for Adults and $30 for a family. It is best to sign up before the ride.

Skookum Youth Ride
South Canoe Trails 10th Ave SE and 70th St SE, Salmon Arm, British Columbia, CanadaEvent Details: WHAT Skookum Cycle & Ski Junior Group Rides. WHEN & WHERE Starting Tuesday, April 16th, at 5:10pm, main parking South Canoe Trails, 10th Ave & 70 St SE, Map Normal start time is 5:30, this first one will start a bit early to do a helmet and bike check. Please take your bike into your favorite community bike shop pre-Tues if your bike needs some love. PRICE FREE!!! DETAILS The Skookum Junior Group Rides are for young riders (around 6 - 14 years old) of all experience levels. Helmets are mandatory. Due to the hilly geography of Salmon Arm, riders are recommended to have bikes in good working order with gears, front suspension, and good brakes (disc brakes are ideal). Please make sure all riders dress for the conditions (comfortable shorts and jersey, bug spray, rain jacket if it's rainy, etc.) Each week, we will practice bike skills, learn and play games, and ride fun trails together. South Canoe Annual Spring Voly Blitz
South Canoe Trails 10th Ave SE and 70th St SE, Salmon Arm, British Columbia, CanadaCome join the South Canoe Trail Advisory and Skookum Cycle & Ski for this annual South Canoe Spring Voly Blitz to get the trails ready for the Salty Dog on the May 11/12th weekend. BBQ lunch provided by Skookum Cycle & Ski. When: 8:30 to 3:30 Where: South Canoe Parkling Lot Trail Head If you can help, please mark your calendars. Bring outdoor work clothes, gloves, shoes/boots and water. Plus pruning loppers, if you have them. But we'll have tools, plus training and safety instruction. All ages welcome! Help us speed up the morning sign-in by copying, reading, and bringing the annual Shuswap Trail Stewards Waiver form with you. It’s a requirement for our insurance. Signed once, it covers the year. Rubberhead Trail Night
The Shuswap Cycling Club in association with Skookum Cycle and Ski will be hosting trail nights on the Rubberhead trail system. Alvin’s Greatest Hits Grand Opening

As a kick off to the Salty Dog Weekend, on Friday May 10th, Skookum Cycle and the Shuswap Cycling Club will be hosting the grand opening of the newest Rubberhead trail, Alvin's Greatest Hits, a blue rated jump trail at the bottom of Alvin Comes Alive. There will be a $10 BBQ hosted by Skookum Cycle and group rides of the Rubberhead network. Meet at 5:30 pm at Skookum or at 6:15 at the Rubberhead parking lot.
