See below for the details from Sweet Skills. Cornering, drops and flow - get it all in the Salmon Arm 1 day clinic July 2020! The Rubberhead trails offer tons of fun corners, lots of opportunity for speed and flow, and some great drops to learn and progress on. To start the day we’ll talk about bike set up then tune in our body position to be able to ‘attack’ the trail, and practicing some key drills before heading up the hill. We’ll shuttle our way up so we can save on all that climbing and focus on our DH skills! Pump, carve and drop – you’ll be dialed with those skills by the end of the day and stoked with your riding! FRI July 17 10am-3pm $150 + gst BOOK NOW * All participants must be members of the Shuswap Cycling Club *volunteer shuttlers needed!

It was with a heavy heart that GoByBike BC Society had to postpone the last Spring Bike to Work & School Week event due to COVID-19; but GoByBike will take place September 28 to October 4, 2020!! Participants can register NOW in the NEW GoByBike Website and LogMyRide Application! This year, any ride counts! Anytime you GoByBike, you can log your trips online and you'll be entered into a prize draw to win 1 of many great prizes, including an Exodus Travels Cycling Trip for 2 to Portugal, $50 Visa Gift Cards, and more! 2020 Annual General Meeting
The SCC is having its 2020 Annual General Meeting on Thursday, November 19th, 7pm. The meeting will be held virtually, a meeting link will be posted closer to the date. There will be an election for 6 Board of Director positions for a term of 2 years. Please email us if you would like to nominate someone for a position. The agenda will also include a review of the 2019 financials and reports from the directors on mountain biking, road cycling, cyclocross, memberships and more. Everyone is invited but only members are eligible to vote. Hope to see everyone there!

GoByBike BC Week Spring 2021 is happening May 31-June 6. Head over to https://www.gobybikebc.ca to get registered and join a team. Amazing prizes again this year, including a grand prize of a trip for 2 to go biking in Croatia!
Rubberhead volunteer trail night
Rubberhead Parking LotRubberhead volunteer trail nights are starting again on Monday, April 4th and will run every Monday evening for the spring and into the summer, with a few exceptions. If you'd like to be added to the mailing list for volunteers and receive updates about each event, please let us know at [email protected]. Tuesday Youth Rides

For the first ride, please meet at South Canoe at 5:15 pm with your signed waiver in hand. Downtown Salmon Arm Salmon ArmThe SCC's bike swap is happening at the Salty Dog Street Festival on May 14th! Drop off your bike for sale between 9 and 11, check out other bikes for sale from 11 to 2 and pick up your money (or unsold bike) at 2:30. 10% of your sale goes to the SCC if you are a member, or 15% for non-members.
