DESCRIPTION:Hey All! Come out for a fun filled day of digging in the dirt!! \nScope of work:\n“Black Dog” climb trail. We have approximately 550m of tread left to build on this 2km section of trail. \nWhat to bring:  \n\nHealthy lunch with snacks and water\nSturdy footwear\nWork gloves if you have them\nOutdoor clothes and gear including rain jacket\nSigned waiver\nSmiles\nFriends\nGo-getter attitude!\nAll the tools you need will be provided.\n\nDetails:\nDate: Friday September 16\, 2016\nStart: 9:00 start time \nMeeting Place:\nRubberhead trails just east of Salmon Arm #16 in the Shuswap Trail Guide\, or visit the Shuswap Trails website here: http://www.shuswaptrails.com/trails.php?area=0&id=21) \nDirections:\nDrive approximately 4 kilometers east of the Canoe Forest Products mill on Highway 1\, turn right off the highway onto the 110 Forest Service Road (the first forestry road on the right when heading east\, just before the pullout rest area with information boards on the left. If you miss the turn just pull off into rest area and turn around.) \nOn the 110 Forestry road drive past the trailhead for approximately 4 km to where the road goes around a big switchback corner. We will have our volunteer day sign posted by the side of the road with orange trail flagging. We will hang double flags at the highway turn off and along the Forest Service Road so there is no confusion. \nHappy Trails…. Hope to see you out there!
