These will run every other Monday starting April 16th. We will be meeting at the 2.5km parking lot on the 110 FSR at 6pm. \nWe will be focusing on opening the trails for the spring. Hand pruning and raking trails as well as tread repairs as needed. Some tools will be provided\, but please bring any tools you have. Only people who have Basic Chainsaw Operators Training will be able to operate a chainsaw during these nights.

DESCRIPTION:Join in conversation with recreational road cyclists who live here in the Shuswap – North Okanagan\, described by Shuswap Tourism as a “pedal paradise”. We enjoy cycling adventures and quiet times rolling along scenic paved back roads on our bikes. Cycling provides us with rich experiences in observing\, listening to and smelling nature especially here in this beautiful region we call home.  \nResidents of the Shuswap – North Okanagan live in a “pedal paradise”. One of the ways local cyclists have shared their appreciation for local cycle touring has been to invite fellow cyclists from both near and far (since 1998) to participate in a community bike ride. SUMMARY:CANCELLED - Shuswap Cross Cyclocross Race
DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately the weather has not cooperated. All the snow we received over the last 2 days will not make it feasible to layout a proper course for this weekends race. We have made the decision to cancel the race.  \nThe Bad:\nRather than re-schedule and risk a second snowfall we have made the extremely difficult call to cancel finals for this year. Overall series standings will be determined by those races that have already taken place. \n\nThe Good:\nAs a consolation\, there will be an alternative cyclocross themed ride and potluck this Sunday in Kelowna for all who are able to attend. They will also be doing a simple bell ceremony for those who placed in top 3 in overall standings. Check out the Interior Cyclocross FB page for more details.
