DESCRIPTION:Ride Don’t Hide 2017\n \nRide Don’t Hide is a community bike ride that is happening on June 25th 2017 in 35 city across Canada from BC to Newfoundland to raise awareness and funds for mental health. All funds raised goes back into local programs and initiatives. \nCMHA is a charity organization and it is their 5th year doing Ride Don’t Hide in Salmon Arm. Each year we grow a little and we are continue to reach out to community organizations to join our movement to: raise awareness and funds for mental health. I have attached a few posters and our Facebook page. In our effort to make the day a success we would really appreciate if you can send this event out to all your Larch Hills folks. DESCRIPTION:Hey All! Come out for a fun filled day of digging in the dirt!! \nScope of work:\n“Black Dog” climb trail. We have approximately 550m of tread left to build on this 2km section of trail. \nWhat to bring:  \n\nHealthy lunch with snacks and water\nSturdy footwear\nWork gloves if you have them\nOutdoor clothes and gear including rain jacket\nSigned waiver\nSmiles\nFriends\nGo-getter attitude!\nAll the tools you need will be provided.\n\nDetails:\nDate: Friday September 16\, 2016\nStart: 9:00 start time \nMeeting Place:\nRubberhead trails just east of Salmon Arm #16 in the Shuswap Trail Guide\, or visit the Shuswap Trails website here: http://www.shuswaptrails.com/trails.php?area=0&id=21) \nDirections:\nDrive approximately 4 kilometers east of the Canoe Forest Products mill on Highway 1\, turn right off the highway onto the 110 Forest Service Road (the first forestry road on the right when heading east\, just before the pullout rest area with information boards on the left. If you miss the turn just pull off into rest area and turn around.) \nOn the 110 Forestry road drive past the trailhead for approximately 4 km to where the road goes around a big switchback corner. We will have our volunteer day sign posted by the side of the road with orange trail flagging. We will hang double flags at the highway turn off and along the Forest Service Road so there is no confusion. \nHappy Trails…. Hope to see you out there!

DESCRIPTION:On August 27th in Kamloops\, BC\, the MS Society Kamloops and Area Chapter will be hosting an all-new cycling event: the MS Bike-Mountain! \nRegistration is easily available online at www.msbike.ca or you can call Katrina Harding at 1-800-268-7582 x 7261. The registration fee is highly discounted now until May 15th. \nThis event consists of beginner-to intermediate double and single track trails through the “fast\, flowy\, fun” terrain of Kenna Cartwright Park\, BC’s largest municipal park. \nIn a choose-your-own-adventure style\, teams will determine their own course on the well-defined trails to reach the most checkpoints in the best time. \nBest of all\, this event benefits multiple sclerosis research\, and programs and services to help those affected by MS to improve their quality of life.
